Neil J. Alexander

Neil is a Partner at the firm and chairs the Environment & Sustainability Practice Group. He also provides legal services relative to all aspects of real estate development, including land use, environmental, permitting, regulatory affairs and related litigation. He routinely represents business entities, not-for-profit corporations, and individuals throughout the Hudson Valley and the State of Connecticut in obtaining the necessary zoning, wetland, storm water, LWRP, historic preservation, and architectural approvals for their projects, including compliance with the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA).
As a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and a New York State Certified Real Estate Instructor, Neil frequently lectures at Continuing Legal Education seminars on topics related to his practice areas, including Sustainable Development, Workforce Housing, Climate Change, Greenhouse Gas Regulation, High Performance Buildings, and Responsible Property Investment.
