Congratulations to Anthony Morando, Partner at Cuddy & Feder LLP, on being named the new Board Chair of Abilities First NY (FAFNY).
Anthony has been deeply involved in the Hudson Valley community, serving his first term on the FAFNY Board in 2020. His second term began in 2023, during which he served as Secretary and then Vice-Chair.
In addition to his board leadership, Anthony, and the team at Cuddy & Feder have been a tremendous volunteer presence for the foundation over many years, supporting events such as Halloween Trunk or Treat, Fall Festivals, Holiday Helping Hand, and Hudson Valley Gives fundraising initiatives. In recognition of his outstanding dedication, Anthony received the Volunteer of the Year Award at the 2024 Abilities First Recognition Reception.
Anthony has played an integral role in supporting this inspiring organization for many years, and we are honored that he has been elected as its new Board Chair. His dedication, leadership, and deep commitment to the community make him exceptionally well-suited for this position.
“Serving on the Foundation for Abilities First NY Board has been an incredibly meaningful experience, and I am honored to step into the role of Board Chair. FAFNY’s mission to support individuals with disabilities is one that truly resonates with me, and I have seen firsthand the profound impact this organization has on families and communities. I look forward to continuing this important work alongside my fellow board members, advocating for greater opportunities and resources for those we serve,” said Morando.
