The City of Beacon is one step closer to welcoming a new 48-room hotel following Planning Board approval of The Inn on Spy Hill, a proposed hospitality destination that includes the adaptive reuse of an 1890 Victorian home located at 1064 Wolcott Avenue in Beacon, New York.

The project, proposed by Cuddy + Feder client JMARKMNG, LLC, will feature 48 guest rooms along with a restaurant and spa located right between Beacon’s waterfront and downtown Main Street.

Representing the applicant, Cuddy + Feder attorneys Taylor Palmer and Jessica Zalin guided the project through Beacon’s land use approval process, securing site plan, special use permit, certificate of appropriateness and Local Waterfront Revitalization Program approvals for the Project.

The approvals represent a significant milestone for the project that is expected to expand Beacon’s hospitality offerings, support tourism and provide new accommodations for visitors exploring the Hudson Valley.

News coverage of the project has appeared in Westfair online.
