Neil Alexander, Partner at Cuddy & Feder, recently obtained site plan approval on behalf of River Link Hotels from the Town of Fishkill Planning Board for the development of a four-story, 103-room Home 2 Suites by Hilton at 300 Westage Business Center Drive in Dutchess County, NY.

The hotel will be located within the Planned Shopping Center Zoning District on a portion of the property currently used for parking at a developed site with an existing 117,600 square foot office building. The project will share parking with the existing building, with a total of 250 spaces, and will use the site’s existing access from Westage Business Center Drive.

As part of the approval process, the Planning Board granted waivers for required parking and loading, and the Zoning Board of Appeals approved area variances for a rear setback encroachment and the project’s Signage Package. Given the proposed 2.65 acres of ground disturbance, the project will require a SPDES General Permit and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
