Fishkill, NY – March 13, 2024 – Cuddy & Feder LLP is proud to announce that Partner Anthony F. Morando will be honored by the Foundation for Abilities First New York (FAFNY) at their 2024 Recognition Reception, scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2024, at The Inn at Bellefield Hyde Park.
Anthony has been selected for the Volunteer of the Year Award in recognition of his exceptional contributions as a board volunteer for the Foundation for Abilities First. Since joining the Board of Directors in 2020, Anthony has played a pivotal role in advancing the mission of Abilities First, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving the needs of over 1,400 children and adults with developmental disabilities in the Hudson Valley.
Anthony is Partner in Charge of Cuddy & Feder’s Hudson Valley office, and a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. His practice includes most facets of land use, zoning and telecommunications and energy infrastructure. He has represented and worked with a broad range of applicants for land use and energy permits, including residential and commercial developers, utilities and non-profit organizations. He regularly appears before Planning Boards, Legislative Boards, Zoning Boards and other permitting boards and agencies.
In addition to his commitment to Abilities First, Anthony has been deeply involved in the Hudson Valley community, volunteering for other not-for-profit organizations and boards. Anthony is a Hudson Valley native, residing in Somers with his wife and three children. He also volunteers with the Somers School District and coaches various youth sports teams.
The 2024 Recognition Reception, hosted by Abilities First and FAFNY, will celebrate the achievements of Anthony Morando and other distinguished honorees, highlighting their vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The event invites community members to learn more about the mission of Abilities First and to join in celebrating the remarkable contributions of its supporters.
