Cuddy & Feder LLP is pleased to announce that Maximillian Mahalek, Associate in the firm’s Land Use, Zoning & Development and Energy & Environmental Practice Groups, will serve as the featured speaker at the American Planning Association’s Private Practice Division (PPD) Conversation titled “Legal Tips and Tricks for Planners.” The virtual session will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 3:00–4:00 PM ET.

During the session, Max will share practical guidance for planners on navigating land use regulations, state and local permitting, and environmental review processes. As an attorney with a Master’s in Urban Planning, Max brings a unique perspective to the intersection of planning and law.

At Cuddy & Feder, Max counsels clients in a wide range of permitting and environmental review matters and regularly represents applicants before municipal boards and agencies. He serves as Chair of the American Planning Association’s Planning and Law Division and sits on the Board of the White Plains Bar Association.
