Christopher B. Fisher, Partner and Chair of the firm’s Digital Infrastructure Practice, will moderate a panel discussion titled “Critical Connectivity: Why Communities and Public Institutions are Welcoming Towers” at the 2025 Connect (X) Conference. The session will take place on Tuesday, May 13, from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM in Room W183A.

Once met with resistance, wireless towers are increasingly being embraced by civic leaders and public institutions for the critical role they play in public safety. This panel will explore how tower companies, network operators, and public agencies are working together to ensure reliable communication infrastructure in times of crisis. The conversation will also cover how commercial wireless services can coexist with public safety needs and what other services these towers may enable for the communities they support.

The Connect (X) Conference is the premier event for the wireless infrastructure industry and will bring together industry leaders and experts to discuss the latest trends and developments in wireless technology and infrastructure.
