Protecting Tenant’s Lease Rights
Cuddy & Feder Partner and Litigation Co-Chair Josh Kimerling successfully obtained a preliminary injunction preventing a commercial landlord from terminating his client’s long-term lease in Rockland County. The injunction obtained in the New York State Supreme Court staved off eviction efforts by the landlord and preserved the tenant’s right to peaceably remain in possession of its store that it has operated in the community for decades.
