Cuddy & Feder Secures Possession of Beacon Single-Family Home Despite COVID Challenges and Local Statute Hurdles

Cuddy & Feder, led by associate Kempshall McAndrew, successfully regained possession of a single-family home in Beacon after a years-long summary proceeding. The proceeding was ultimately won at trial after delays caused in many similar landlord-tenant proceedings by the COVID pandemic and was one of the few matters which were brought pursuant to a challenged Beacon statute which, among other things, imposed special conditions on seeking eviction of tenants. This victory allows our client to make use of her newly renovated home again.
