Daniel F. Leary
Land Use & Zoning, Environmental
Dan is a Partner in the firm and Vice Chairman of the Land Use Department, and co-manages the firm's Hudson Valley Office.
He
has over 20 years of experience in the areas of land use and
municipal law, and currently practices in real estate development, telecommunications, zoning and related environmental law. Dan works with a variety of clients, including large corporations, real estate developers, wireless carriers, public utilities, schools, non-profit organizations, municipalities and industrial development agencies. He counsels clients on a variety of matters, including local land use review/approval processes, permitting, regulatory compliance and related compliance with the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, or "SEQRA."
Prior to joining the firm, Dan served as the First Deputy County Attorney of the County Putnam. Earlier, he served as the Town Attorney for the Town of Kent, New York.
